Masquerade!
Wearing stunning traditional Masquerade Ballgowns and elaborate tailcoats, these dancers can meet and greet guests and pose for photos on arrival.
They will then perform a fantastic Baroque inspired dance to create scenes straight out of a period drama film!
The dance begins with a procession into the room and then goes into a dramatic waltz style piece that is 5 minutes in length.
The second dance has an optional twist! The dancers begin to dance in their regal style and then suddenly the music changes and we go into party mode with a remix of Justin Timberlake ’Can’t Stop The Feeling’ amongst other contemporary tunes. This goes into some freestyle dancing and inviting guests up to get the dance floor busy.
This is often performed as a continuous show, but the songs could be separated.
Breakdance Option
There is also the option to add breakdancing waiters into this act!
After the first routine, the second song begins and the dancers start to waltz…..then one of our ‘waiters’ trips onto the dance floor and drops a tray causing a commotion.
We hear a DJ ‘scratch’ sound and the music stops while a short argument breaks out between the dancers and the waiters.
Then the waiter shouts to ‘cue the music!’ The upbeat party music starts as they begin to breakdance.
They do lots of big impressive tricks and flips and also dance in unison with the masquerade dancers.
All performers are also available to meet and greet guests.
